Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd. (Representative Director, Group CEO: Hiroshi Kiriyama, "Cosmo") announces resignation of directors.

Note: The official date of the resignation is March 14, 2022.

Resignation of above Outside Directors came after the secondary offering of shares launched on March 9, as it is announced in the press release on the same day, "Notification Regarding Secondary Offering of Shares in the International Markets and Change of Principal Shareholder, Largest Shareholder (which is also a Principal Shareholder) and Other Affiliated Entities".

In the UAE, Cosmo has been engaged in crude oil procurement and oil exploration and production for more than half a century, and also in Japanese education support and environment preservation activities. With these wide range of business and non-business activities in the country, Cosmo has established good relationship with UAE-based companies and will secure profit throughout our presence there.

In response to accelerating decarbonization, Cosmo will promote consideration of new business areas such as wind power and CCS/CCUS to achieve carbon net-zero by strengthening the partnerships with those companies in the UAE.
